Our Story
We are a family farm established 5 years ago. We immediately began rescuing and adopting animals in need of homes. We began our mobile petting zoo, Duncan Family Farm Mobile Petting Zoo to offset costs such as feed, housing, hay and medical care for the animals. We found that people love animals as much as we do. We became a rescue to continue our mission of helping the animals. Rooted in our faith, we believe in the value of all living beings. We care for animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Also, sometimes families' living arrangements change and they can no longer keep their beloved pet. We take those animals to help those families as well.
Our Team
Our team is a dedicated group of professionals and volunteers that serve as faithful stewards of the resources entrusted to us by God. Guided by prayer, integrity, wisom and accountability, they ensure our operations are sustainable, transparent, ethical and are in line with our God given mission to protect and care for the animals.
We Bring The Farm To You
At Good Shepherd Rescue fomerly known as Duncan Family Farm Mobile Petting Zoo, we provide a unique and interactive experience for all ages. We specialize in bringing our mobile petting zoo right to your doorstep! Our petting zoo is a safe and fun way to learn about and interact with animals. We feature a wide variety of animals such as goats, sheep, rabbits, pigs, ducks, ponies and more. We also offer fun activities such as feeding the animals, photoshoot's and more! Our staff is knowledgeable and passionate about animal care and are here to help answer any questions you may have.
Birthday Parties
We have several birthday party packages to meet your needs. Mix and match your favorite animals. We can come in any weather and will set up 20-30 minutes before your party. Parties are minimum of 1 hour for the meet and greet!
School Events
We love to teach everyone of all ages about our farm animals. We can come to school events, preschools, colleges and even senior centers.I mean who doesn't love a sloppy kiss from a goat!
Weddings
We love weddings! Especially our sweet unicorn Gracie. Invite your favorite animals to the wedding for a one hour meet and greet and one of a kind photo op!
Corporate Events
Are you wondering how to bring your team together? Boosting morale has never been easier with the help of Evie the Donkey or Sammie the Goat. Our animals would love an event planned with your company and team.
Animal Grams + Greeting Cards
Choose one animal to send to someone you LOVE or LIKE a whole lot. Your loved one will get 45 minutes of 1:1 hugs and kisses with our furry friend.
Greeting cards are pictures of our furry family members. Mail them for
ANY & EVERY occasion to your special person.
Packages Starting at $375 for 1 Hour
Packages start at $375 for one hour and up. There is no additional charge for mileage within a 25 mile radius from our farm in Forest Hill, MD. After 25 miles we will add $2/mile round trip plus tolls. We require 50% deposit and 48 hour cancellation notice. Full payment is due 48 hours prior to your event.
